I’ve never really understood how the Joker is still alive.

Like… Batman obviously isn’t going to do anything, even though he should.

But in the whole of Gotham and all the people that have legit reasons to want the Joker dead, for whatever reason, no one has taken a shot at him? I’d imagine at least someone would have had a pretty good chance of taking him out.
